bottles, spoons, and frogs

...
My Aloha Friday question is:

Do you collect anything?

I used to collect glass bottles and glassware (mostly old/antique) but haven't in a long time. What I have sits in a box in the basement.

I collected antique salt and miniature spoons for quite a long time. I had them displayed on a rack that hung on my kitchen wall in my old house. When we moved into this house (5 years ago), there was no convenient place to hang the rack so they, too, are sitting in a box in my basement.

I have a small collection of frogs but really don't collect them. I decided I didn't want frogs all around my house so I've kept my collection small and personal. Most of them were gifts. This post explains what frogs mean to me and shows you a few of my furry friends.

It was a blessing to wake up to snow today. It was on the ground and it was still floating down from the sky. As I drove west, I was blessed with the breath-taking view of snow capped mountains. Snow isn't always my friends, but it is truly beautiful.

Blessing #14 in a month's worth of blessings.

I don't collect anything. I'm boring like that. I just change my mind on what I like way too often. Aloha!

I am sorry to say hat I don't collect anything. Now that I'm in the latter stage of life, I look back and wish I had. I keep thinking of all these neat things I wish I had collected.

Snow! Nice!!! We're getting lots and lots of rain today and yesterday.

I collected Zippo lighters, but I have quit smoking. I will pick up an agate anytime I see one which is often. I have been told that I could find an agate in a pile of cow dung.... lol
I don't think I want to put that to the test.

I collect Noah's Ark items and Eeyores. Strange combo, huh? Oh well, that's me in a nutshell. LOL

I don't collect anything anymore - my hubby would freak! I used to collect candy jars of all shapes and sizes. I even filled them with candy and never ate it - promise! It was a weird collection, but I've always loved the feeling I get when walking into a candy store. It was fun to have a bit of that feeling at home...

I like your quote of the day - so true.

I used to collect all sorts of things...before the fire...

now I guess I collect children's toys...all over the living room floor LOL.

subvet said this morning that if anyone ever broke in we'd be sued cuz they'd slip and break a leg!

Actually I collect Agatha Christie books. I have 87 different titles to date and would like to some day have them all. There are some that aren't in print anymore.

I collected Stephen King's books and have all up to Cell...but got disenchanted when his writing seemed to no longer be as good after he finished The Dark Tower series.

Let's see, I also collect Earlene Fowler's Benni Harper series....

I guess you could just sum it up by saying I collect books! haha. I should post a pic of our bookshelf sometime....

I used to collect pewter figurines, still have a small display in my living room. My favorite collection was my kaleidoscopes, but many of them have been mangled by my kids. Kids love them. Maybe I'll collect them again, and share them with my grandkids someday.

I don't have an official collection, but I do tend to buy a lot of books. I have a collection of blue delft that was my mothers, and I have half a dozen teapots and lots of teacups.

I like pitchers for some reason. I don't use them, just like to have them as decoration for flowers or empty!

I also seem to be doing well at collecting dust! :-D Oh, and I have a collection of empty pepsi bottles in the recycling box in the garage! ;-)

I don't collect anything... well, I guess I do collect fabric :) Right now, in our current home, I wouldn't have a place to display a collection. But I have started to gather stars... metal ones, glass ones... not sure why, but I just love them :)
