Nancy, of More Than Enough, tagged me for the quirky, but boring, meme. I need to state 6 quirky, but boring, facts about myself. Since I'm feeling a little down and not feeling like doing anything, which includes blogging, I thought today would be a good day to post this meme.
Back in January I posted 6 quirky things about myself. I had to go back and read it so I didn't repeat anything. This meme is not only quirky, but boring. I had to think a bit on that.
1. I have never liked buffalo wings because of the mess of picking a little bit of meat off of a chicken bone. But just in the past six months I have started eating boneless buffalo wings which is really just chicken tenders with the buffalo sauce. It's the buffalo sauce that I'm lovin'. I can't believe I've gone my whole life without enjoying this wonderful taste.
2. I am really good at remembering names and faces. I am so thankful I am because I think it's a blessing to be known by name after meeting only once. It's an ability that was very useful being in youth ministry.
3. I pretty well wear the same jewelry every day; diamond pendant necklace (if not this, then a cross pendant), small diamond stud earrings, wedding rings, plus 4 other rings, one being a thumb ring, a watch, and a toe ring.
4. I have no cousins. My mom and dad were only children.
5. I am really good with directions and having a feel for where I am and where I need to go to get somewhere. If I've been somewhere once, I can pretty well get back there and know where to go from there.
6. My chocolate fix: M&Ms. I frequently buy a small bag just to have around, so I can pick up a couple at a time to suck on. [I'm sucking on one now =)]

I don't have any cousins either! Finally, someone else without cousins! LOL (my mom has a brother and sister who are both married but neither had children and my dad has a brother who never married)
And, I'm just like you with directions. A wonderful gift from my mom. Drives T nuts that I'm usually right - hahaha!
I always enjoy these when they are new things not posted about before - I have such a hard time remembering what I've posted about that I avoid them so I don't repeat - I'll have to think really hard this weekend!

Sorry you're having a down day :o) I USE to be really good with names, too. Not so much any more and that is something I truly dislike about getting older :o)
BUT, I keep asking the name until I finally remember it because I agree it is so important to address people by name.

Don't remember names well, but I'm great with faces. In a restaurant last week I saw a man come in who was my doctor for a short time 40 years ago. He sat in the booth right in front of me. I finally went over to him and said "excuse me, but I believe you are Dr. Singer." He said yes and I told him I had once been his patient. After sharing a few things that I thought might stir his memory, he made the connection too.
I could use him if I did your 365 project!

I have never had a buffalo wing in my life! I can't cope with the idea of eating a chicken wing. Now this boneless deal might work for me!
I love peanut butter M&Ms, but forget about enjoying 2 or 3. If I start, I'll finish half a bag!

M&Ms are the best!! I actually have an online friend, Infantry Dad who calls me M&M short for Mightymom. I love it!
I eat the one at a time. Now they have all these flavors....but plain and peanut are the only ones for me!
Oh, no all that didn't break at once...it's been over the 6 years we've been in this house. Just trying to boost Subvet's ego a bit. He gets down at times and this week has been one of those times. It's hard to have your wife support you, no matter what the circumstances.

Hint from a not tooooo long ago college student?? send him a care package with lots of FOOD, sweets are the best. You'll feel better putting it together and he'll instantly be the most popular guy on his floor of the dorm.

No cousins??? Wow...I can't imagine that! I have over 40. Crazy. I actually just posted about my many cousins! So far my kids have only 3 cousins. Jay is an only child and I have 2 brothers. So my kids won't have too many more cousins than they already have.
I'm sorry you're feeling kind of blah... I liked the meme though! I too am not a fan of wings... I didn't know you could get boneless ones. I'll have to try it out.
