i'm humming the olympic song in my sleep

Kailani at An Island Life hosts Aloha Friday where Friday posts are made easy by simply asking a question.

I've mentioned it a few times... I am loving the Olympics. My eyes are bloodshot and I've been having headaches because I'm not getting enough sleep because I'm up late watching them. But I figure I can handle it for 2 weeks and then get back into a better schedule.

My questions are (because I can hardly ever ask just one):
Are you watching the Olympics? and
What is your favorite sport to watch?

Yes (duh), I am watching and my favorite has been beach volleyball (both men and women). But obviously, the swimming has been very exciting. I'm also looking forward to the track and field events.

Just for the fun of it, check out all the Aloha Friday participants.

Grandma and I have been staying up till midnight every night watching the Olympics.

I'm really enjoying Women's Beach Volleyball, swimming (especially the synchronized diving - wow and always gymnastics.

I can get caught up in any of the sports when it starts getting exciting.

Love the above quote! A keeper.

And yes - there is a pushed up crease and a nice round indentation on my trunk!

I have been watching the Olympics here and there. It has been amazing to watch Michael Phelps. I love to watch Synchronized swimming, swimming, diving and gymnastics.

Have a great weekend!

If I'm going to watch them, I'll watch track and field.

I'm growing tired of the Olympics and the media only showing the more popular athletes. I would like to see more of the unknowns rather than the ones who already have enough money from their books or lose their jewerly and matches have to stop - hello??? Tape it or don't wear it! (sorry, that was my $.02)

I love the idea of the Olympics, I'm just growing tired of the media hype of the "popular" ones - its like HS all over ... sigh

I'm not watching it so much, because I'm working. I do like track and field and swimming.

I have been watching! I get most of my joy from the swimming and diving events. Of course, I'm following Michael Phelps to see what he does in the next two days. So amazing to see these athletes!

I really enjoyed the men's gymnastics. I think it's because there were so many surprise outcomes!
