isn't it crazy?

... that summer is coming to a close? Where did it go? The weather may not be an indication that the fun in the sun is winding down, but the kids going back to school sure is.

Here's my Aloha Friday question:
What is your fondest memory from this summer?

I had a fun and busy summer, full of fond memories. I'd have to say our trip to Alaska was the highlight. I'll always have some great memories from our time as a family together and the sights and adventures we experienced.

Aloha Friday can be found at An Island Life each and every Friday.

Our trip to Idaho was probably the highlight for us... and the highlight of that trip was the day spent with friends or the day swimming with family!

I think my fondest memory is yet to come. We are meeting friends from Colorado in the Black Hills. We haven't seen them since we moved. The kids are so excited!! I can't believe that summer is over either. It went too fast. Everyone is so happy to have their kids going off to school and I am just not ready! We still have one more week:)

I think your trip was the perfect way to spend some family time before your children head off in their own directions! It is so great that you were able to do that trip!

My fondest memory: Our 2 trips to the beach and seeing the kids enjoy playing with their friends (1st trip) and their cousins (2nd trip) :)

Well my son said his name for the first time this summer (and of course now says it all the time) and seeing as not much of interest has happened this summer, I guess I'll go with that. :)

Oh my, so many favorites. Loved cherry picking with my brother and his family, had a blast last weekend at my aunt's lake house. I suppose my absolutely favorite was last weekend with everyone at the beach, in the pool and as a large extended family celebrating two birthdays together.

Have a great weekend!

We took our girls to the beach for the first time this year and it was a great trip, start to finish. Best memory, hands down.

I saw some whales out in the sound and also some pretty sunsets. Thats about the only joy I've gotten this summer.
Next week we are going camping tho and if all goes well then that will be my favorite memory.

Mine is of our good friends from NJ coming to Orlando and meeting them out there. The kids had such a blast and I love it when the kids are together. (and the adults too of course) My Aloha Friday is up at http://spiceworld.us

I accomplished a few big projects around the house and that has made me very happy, thus...fond memories. :)

I lived vicariously through your trip to Alaska! LOL

My fondest memory was one that tested my family the most. It was when Hurricane Dolly brought so much rain and we had major flooding...and the family all united and work together and we saved the livestock, the chickens and the sheds. It took so much energy and we all slept for hours when the danger passed. But it was so amazing to see us stand in a time of catastrophe.

We all thanked God for giving us the strength to overcome this obstacle in our summer.

We are still rebuilding and recovering from the July we will never forget.

Our trip to Glacier National park this summer...time spent with my entire family (my parents, sister and my son) - times that can't be replaced. By the way, I'm so not ready for summer to end!!!

My fondest memory of the summer...hmmmm.... Despite all our travels, I'd have to say my favorite moments were our lazy summer evenings AT HOME!

My fondest memories are of watching all the new things that Ladybug is learning and doing! Last summer, she didn't do much. This summer she has definitely kept me on my toes. And I wouldn't trade a single day of it!
