it's your turn to answer

Kailani hosts Aloha Friday and you can check out all the participants there. I've been answering a lot of questions lately (as part of my blogaversary) and now it's your turn to answer one of mine.

What one state (of the United States) have you never been to but would like to visit? and Is there a particular part of that state you would want to see?

Unfortunately, I've been to, or through, a lot of states when I was young. I don't really remember a lot of them, but my question was, "a state you've never been to," so I will come up with one that I truly have never stepped foot in.

My choice would be the state of Washington. And I'd like to see the coastal area, like around Seattle. I know they get a lot of rain and their are a lot of lush green areas. Yep, that's what I'd like to see. And while I was there, I would visit an online friend - maybe meeting her at one of the original Starbucks.

I've traveled so little, that it would be a shorter to list the states I've actually been too!!!

May I pick 2? California and Maine

HAWAII!

I have always wanted to go there. We keep saying we'll go when I'm not nursing or pregnant. Umm...when will that be? LOL!

And, I would want to go to Maui there. I've heard it's magnificent! :)

Diana you answered my answer! I would love to go to Alaska. I would love to see the glaciers and the former gold fields...and even the oil line from there.

But what I really wish to see is Alaska and the growing season. I have read about the gigantic everything, due to the long days...and would love to see first hand!

I have never been to the US but if one day I'll visit, I'd go to Hawaii or California -- everywhere!

I'd love to go to Washington and Florida. I have never been to the US though.

One state I would love to visit is Vermont. To taste some of their yummy fresh maple syrup, and to snow ski, at what I thought was the funnest name for a mountain Sugarloaf.

I've only been to Florida. One day I would LOVE to explore New York.

Look who's (finally!) popping in!

I've actually posted and am visiting friends that I have been away from for far too long!

Like you, I went through many states when I was young. If I could pick one to visit, I think I'd go with Alaska. My oldest brother lives there, but we can't afford the airfare. :-(

Florida - we're going there later this year to go to Disney World.

I used to live in Washington. It really doesn't rain much during the summer months.

hmmm....I too have either visited or lived in many states, so where would i live to visit and why....
I have been wanted to go to montana or idaho...you know BIG country. I have been in and around cities all my life, I think a nice ranch and all that open wilderness would be an awesome thing to see.

Oh, this is any easy one - NEW YORK CITY! I would love to see Rockerfeller Center during Christmas. It's always been a dream of mine.

I think you would really like Western Washington along the coast line.

There's still lots of states I would like to visit. I would like to go to NYC with someone who knows the city and could show me all the cool places.

Great quote from Winnie!

I've never been to Oregon, but I hear it's beautiful. Of course my first choice would also be Washington State, but I live there when I was little, so Oregon by the ocean would be grand.

What comes to mind is Washington DC. I would love to tour the White house, Smithsonian the whole kit and caboodle.
