Diana....here is how I created the custom headers. I actually got it from Rachael's blog....

www.alwayswanted4.blogspot.com

This is what she had to say:

I created my header layout at scrapblog.com, a free (free!) site for digital scrapbooking (I have no experience in digital scrapbooking, but found this fairly easy to use). (And, I have to give credit where credit is due to Sasha for tipping me off to this site.)

After you've created your layout (either from scratch or from a template (which you can modify)), publish it. Then, select "edit" to get the toolbar back up at the top. Choose "file" and then "export as jpeg" to save the file as a picture to your computer. Now, you can go insert the picture into your template as your header.

Tip: If you are using a New Blogger template it is very easy to insert the picture into your header. Go to your Blogger dashboard, select "Template" then "Page Elements". Select "edit" on your header, upload the image and choose the "instead of title and description" option, then "save changes". The pixel size of the image (900 x 600) fits perfectly in the Minima, Moto, and Rounders template series as is. (There is a way to get rid of the border around the photo from the template header by editing the HTML, but I can't recall exactly how I did that on mine, so I won't presume to instruct anyone else on that.)

It sounds a little complicated but it was really easy!! And I have had so much fun playing with it....as you can see I have made several:) I did figure out how to get rid of the border around the header too so let me know if you need help with that. That's pretty easy too.

That goose better be careful if that ice is in Colorado. I heard it was REALLY nice there yesterday. We woke up to -25 degrees. I am soooo ready for spring!!

I love it when the gees do that. We have some that live in the city and surrounding area all year long. They hang about the public lakes and decorative ponds. They are so much fun to watch. A real good shot.

He's probably missing his watering hole. Good thing he doesn't weigh much! LOL!

BTW, thanks for the Valentine wishes. I just figured out how to read them. *duh*
