This morning we had to say good-bye to our company. We had a wonderful time while they were here and I'm going to miss them. My sister and I don't get to see each other very often. It had been a little over two years since the last time. We're hoping it won't be that long this time.
Thanks, Karen, for coming all the way out here and spending your Christmas with us. I love you and your family, and loved having all of you in my home. I will think of you often and keep you in my prayers, thanks to the bracelets (watch for show & tell next Friday).

You and your sister look like great friends. I'm glad your families had time together.
Diana what a wonderful treat! I'm so glad you a great visit with your sister and her family!
It's been over two years since I've seen my sister and her family. So I understand how special this visit must have been.
Blessings my friend.
Even though my sisters and I don't live too far from each other, we don't get together as often as we would like to, and it's always special when we see each other. I'm happy that you and your sister had a wonderful time.
Wow, you two look as much alike as my girls! Amazing! I'm so glad you enjoyed your family time. I bet it was different having younger kids around again.
As for our Christmas movie...HA, the movie was cute, but made totally for kids. What were we thinking? As for Jen, she loves pretending to be a model. I think she would love it. Lindsey said she had a hard time posing natural. She did great with the close ups because she is constantly taking photos of herself for Facebook. I'm so pleased with the outcome and had prints made for some frames yesterday.
What a great picture of you and Karen. Maybe I'll put it on my desktop. Cute picture of the family too.
I've always wished I had a sister (or brother). You and Karen often make that wish even stronger. I'm anxious to see the bracelet.
So glad you had a wonderful time with your sister and her family.
Goodbyes are always hard.
I really like that picture of you and your sister. You look a lot alike.
What a blessing, having a sister. I got to see one of mine this Christmas too. I really enjoy your blog.
Wanted to answer your question about the Randy Alcorn book. He does go into the subject you asked about, inasmuch as the scriptures do. I'm only halfway through, and the "picture" is ethereal, at best. I hope I will be more conversant with it when I'm done. But God has left a whole lot to our imagination when it comes to Heaven. I really recommend this book, though. I know my whole perspective is changing as a result of these new understandings coming to me.

I LOVE this picture of you and your sister! You look SO happy to just be together...that's how I always feel when I'm with my younger sister. I just love being where she is! :)
