nepal or bust

This was Danielle as I was saying good bye to her last Friday. It was hard for both of us, but we both knew she was about to embark on a life changing adventure, and we were excited for that. Thank you to everyone who responded to this post and have lifted up a prayer for her, her team, and the trip.

She has sent two updates thus far and they both have been rays of sunshine for Don and I. If you would like to read them, and any future correspondence, they are posted on her blog, Daze of Dani.

Again, thank you for your prayers.

She is most definately in my prayers, Diana -- what she is doing is such a wonderful thing. I know its hard when our babies grow up and go out in the world (literally) on their own, but take comfort in the great kid she is and that you have done a great job in making her the awesome person she is!

What a wonderful opportunity for her. I can't image sending off my son like that though....(he & I went on two mission trips together to Haiti and I went again in Feb.) I'm praying that the month will go quickly for you and that her time in Nepal will be exciting, challenging, a time of spiritual growth, and that God would use her and the team to bless others, as I know the team will be blessed.
(btw, I'm heading to Guatemala in a week!)

Thanks for the blog link, by the way. I'll be reading her blog.
