laughter is the best medicine

I've had a busy week helping Danielle get ready for her trip (read previous post) so I haven't posted since Sunday. But I figured I could come up with a question for Aloha Friday to get me back into the routine of posting.

My Aloha Friday question is:

What is something that can always make you feel better?

My answer to this question is laughter. I believe that laughter is so good for the soul. If I am down about something, I usually try to find something I can watch - either a TV show or a movie, where I can sit back and laugh. Not only does it take my mind off of whatever it is that is bothering me, but it serves as a soothing balm and lifts my spirits. You know what they say... laughter is the best medicine. At least it is for me.

My family around me. Whether it's my son trying to crush me w/ his strength, my daughter being the cutsie one or my husband just kinda holding on. I'll take the lot please!

I like to look through old pictures on my computer and edit them. I love digital editing and it takes my mind of whatever it bothering me.

I have thought of you on and off all week. I hope today isn't too terribly hard for you to say goodbye. I will be praying for Danielle and her group to have safe and uneventful travels.

I would say people, three in particular. My husband, my brother or my best friend. They're my support group in life, and when one is tired of listening to me, the next one is there and ready;)

My wife's fantastic back-rubs. :) The best is when she does it through a movie. I always feel better after that.

my husband.

honestly, I married the man because he can ALWAYS make me smile, regardless of the circumstances.

I called him from work the other day saying "okay...you have to talk me off the ledge here.." sure enough, within 5 min I'm laughing and things look better!
