you were where?

...

Once again, it is Aloha Friday time. Kailani over at An Island Life hosts every week this fun and simple meme. All you have to do is post a question. It's fun visit other participants and even more fun to read the answers to your own question. So if you've stopped by, please play along.

I decided to go for something completely random this week. My question is:

Whose house were you in last (besides your own) and why?

Last Monday, I attended my Moms In Touch group which is held at the leader's home. I've been meeting with this group for three years now and always look forward to our time together. Yes, we pray for our children and the schools in the community, but we also spend time sharing our lives with each other, lending support and encouragement.

Now it's your turn.....

Hmm... it's been awhile! We've had sick kids... then sick me... then sick kids again. So it's been awhile... gosh... a long while. I can't remember! Yeah, it's been that long!! We've met up with people at the park and the library, but haven't been to someone's home for awhile. Actually, it was before the holidays. We're all healthy now, maybe we should change that :)

Ummm, it's been quite awhile for me too. I'm trying to think. This is sooo pathetic. It's got to have been one of my kid's friend's. It seems like that's the only places I go!!

Since we've been iced in for several days now it would be a week ago Monday when I went to a church friends house for our weekly Bible study.

Sounds like a great group, Diana.

The last house I was in was my parents' house in Hawaii. It's only been 3 weeks and I already miss them.

I stopped to see my aunt this afternoon. We're the librarians for our church library and I had some new books and tapes for her to catalog. We had a nice visit for about a half hour before I had to go pick up the kids.

OK, I found a calendar, it was Dec 28th my Dad and Stepmom's house for dinner and our Christmas gathering.

Truthfully we rarely get invited over to places...and there's one place where even though invited we won't go because of the kids.

I've invited a few folks over to my place, but it hasn't actually happened yet...we're still in the compare calendars and find a date stage.

ok, that sounded wrong. what I meant is that we won't go to my mom's house because it's so terribly cluttered and messy that it isn't safe for MY kids....

It was my parents house. Why cause something about raising me and sheltering for years and needing to visit once a month blah blah blah :)
Dad had just had back surgery and I was there to take lunch.

It was a lunch "fellowship." I attend a weekly "Bible Study Fellowship." Part of each week's meeting is a small discussion group where we answer questions from our Bible study.

Once a month we have a "bring your own lunch" at someone's home where we share insights from our Bible study and how they are effecting our lives.

Jan. 26, at my son's house for his birthday. I will be going there again tomorrow for the baby shower for my grand daughter. The guys plan to watch Super Bowl in the basement.

I was in my dear in-laws' home last night, which feels like home because I stroll over their fridge whenever I want to pawn my kids off on them. :-)

Wow, I'm having a hard time thinking...that's pathetic. I guess I don't get invited over people's houses often. I guess it was to my friend Laura's for lunch last week. I've had people in my house several times since then, but I really can't think of a sooner time I was in another's house.
