  2. Isn't that crazy!! I hate how they push the holidays through. You can't even enjoy one holiday before they are commercializing the next one. I want to enjoy Halloween....and then Thanksgiving....and then Christmas! I have started Christmas shopping, but only out of neccesity. I can't afford it all at once :)

  4. I am laughing at the Santas and "skulls" staring each other down. It makes me sad though, that Thanksgiving barely gets a nod. It's my favorite holiday.

  6. I remember the "good ole days" when they didn't put out Christmas until the Friday after Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving until after Halloween, etc. To me it takes the emphasis off everything. They will have Valentines out before Christmas & New Year is done.

  7. Okay. I admit it. I'm one of those freaky people that looks forward to the Christmas stuff coming out in October! The Kohl's here has had their stuff up for a month. Costco has had a bunch of their trees out for a few weeks. Macy's at the mall set up a Christmas Tree Lane kind of a thing in one of the empty stores... and usually I love it all! But, this year I'm having a hard time... politics are overwhelming me and I can't get into the spirit of things... hopefully, once the election is over, I'll perk up a bit!

  11. I saw on the news tonight that stores are putting out Christmas "stuff" early to try to increase holiday sales. I guess it's predicted to be the worst season as far as consumer spending since the recession in the early 90's. I thought of you as I watched that story :)

  12. Evidently you don't shop at Costco. They've had their Christmas stuff out since AUGUST!

  13. Its just a reflection of this crazy fast paced world we live in. We should take it one holiday at a time, savoring the moment, and enjoying the time. Businesses included. Do they REALLY sell that much Christmas stuff now to make a difference? Halloween and Christmas up at the same just ain't right:)

  14. Oh man...those skulls are giving Santa the evil eye. I hope a holiday fight doesn't break out...

    CRAZY!
