I had the blessing of celebrating my birthday this last weekend and I received some very nice gifts from Don and the rest of my family (thanks to all of you in California, too).
So my question today is:

ReplyDeleteA really good question that I am being asked all the time now. My birthday is about 6 weeks away and my husband has already started to ask what I want. I am thinking about asking for a weekend/night away with him. He can arrange for the kids to be watched.

ReplyDeleteWell, since my birthday is coming up (this weekend), I did ask for a book. The one that is in the Fireproof movie. That's about it. I'm simple. The best gift is gathering with friends and family and having a good time together.
ReplyDeleteMine's not til spring. If money is still really tight then, I'll just ask for something like a picnic with all of us at the park, or a movie night at home, maybe queen for the day so everyone can do what I would normally do and I can just relax.

Birthday is in May....hmmmm I would ask for a trip w/o the kids for a couple of nights!!!

ReplyDeleteActually, mine is what I would ask my friends and family NOT to do. I turn 50 this year. I DO NOT want a big fan fare made about it. So...I guess I would ask of my friends and family to let me celebrate it quietly and unnoticed by everyone but a few select people.
