I can't say either really impacted mine but it is always interesting to hear what people say about them after the fact.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04135190793124857820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8245468123688846365.post-71676597550023623842009-06-26T18:19:31.017-06:002009-06-26T18:19:31.017-06:00I know exactly how you feel with your "baby&q...I know exactly how you feel with your "baby" turning 19. I felt the same way when mine turned 18 in February. The years have flown by, and yet, remembering the days when he was a baby, seem like a lifetime ago.

Just as with the passing of Farrah and Michael. I loved the Jackson 5 (and Donny Osmond and David Cassidy) growing up. Being the same age, brings the reminder of mortality and to remember to live each day to the fullest because you never know when it may be your last.

As if I have been needed to remember that lately [grin}. No apology needed. Thank you for stopping by and leaving the comment when you did. Yesterday was a particular "down" day for me, so your timing was spot on, OK? Please note the "new" address with this comment. As I stated in one of my entries today, everything is so uncertain right now, but I think most of my blogs are going to go away. I feel scattered and overwhelmed. This layout brought me a sense of peace, and Blogger is free. So, did some switching over and importing ... and well... this is where I will be, if you care to follow along:)

Again, your timing was perfect, and part of this journey that I have been swept away on is to reconnect in many areas...and that include blog friends, which I consider you one. So, its a 2 way street, and I haven't visited for awhile either. But I plan on changing that:)Carolynhttp://takingthetime2live.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8245468123688846365.post-83871692011623426442009-06-26T10:15:14.561-06:002009-06-26T10:15:14.561-06:00Love the quote. Charlie's Angels was THE show! Everyone had her poster. And The Jackson 5. I remember dancing in elementary school through high school to them. And then when he hit the charts again with Billie Jean - then Thriller - man. For some reason both of these hit us hard too.
Maybe it's because they were of my era? Does that mean I'm getting old? Somehow I don't think 50 is old - Course when I'm 90 I'll probably say the same thing! LOL. It is just unbelievable to me that these two people are now gone. I was born in the early 70's so both of these people were big to myself and my parents. We watched Charlie's Angels all the time!! And as a young kid and a teenager I loved Michael Jackson!! No matter what you think of him and the controversy of his life he will be missed! As will Farrah Fawcett!
