a trip to the zoo

I wanted to go to the zoo on my birthday but didn't because of the weather. Two days later, the weather was perfect for a trip to the zoo. It was a beautiful Fall day and I enjoyed walking around by myself, watching the animals, and taking pictures.

Here are just a few of the special moments I captured...

    What amazing pictures! I could look at them all day!

    When we went to the zoo at the beach, the lion was in a cage and there was a fence before that - there was no way I could get a decent picture. So, I'll enjoy yours instead! :)

    These pictures are fabulous, Diana. I could see framing some of them for a little boy's room. I'm impressed that you got such great pictures of the lions. The last time we went they were sound asleep and so far away. I love the new exhibit area they have, it suits them, but a bit tougher for viewing than the old one.

    These are WONDERFUL zoo photos!
    You know, I've never known anyone before who shot a picture of an elephant's butt.
